Privacy Overview
This page summarizes how ShopNest handles your data. The authoritative, full privacy policy lives in the app at shopnest.aoneahsan.com/privacy; this overview explains the essentials and points you to your controls.
What ShopNest collects
To run a store, ShopNest collects the data needed to support your account and orders:
- Account data — your name, email, and sign-in identity (Google, Apple, or email).
- Order data — items purchased, totals, shipping address, and order status.
- Usage data — anonymized analytics about how the app is used, to improve it.
Services ShopNest relies on
ShopNest uses established providers, each for a specific purpose:
- Firebase / Firestore — authentication and data storage.
- Stripe and PayPal — payment processing. Card details are entered into the provider's secure fields, not stored by ShopNest.
- FilesHub — file/image storage (ShopNest does not use Firebase Storage for uploads).
- Analytics and error monitoring — anonymized analytics (Amplitude, Firebase Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and error tracking (Sentry), each active only when configured.
Payment processors act as their own controllers for the payment data you give them; the analytics and error tools receive anonymized signals to help maintain and improve the app.
Your rights and controls
- Access and export your data through your account tools.
- Delete your account and associated data via the data deletion flow.
- Download invoices for your records at any time.
These align with data-protection frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA.
Honest framing
ShopNest collects what it needs to operate a store and uses reputable third parties for payments, storage, and analytics. It does not sell your data, and it shows only first-party promotions rather than third-party ad networks. For the binding details, always refer to the full privacy policy in the app.
