Product Catalog
The product catalog is the heart of the ShopNest storefront: a browsable collection of products organized by category, each with a detail page that carries images, a description, specifications, pricing, and customer reviews. It's where shoppers discover what's available and decide what to buy.
Categories
Products are grouped into categories that appear in the navigation and on the home page. Selecting a category opens a filtered listing of its products, which you can narrow further with search and filters. Categories give shoppers a top-down path into the catalog when they're browsing rather than searching for a specific item.
Product detail pages
Each product has a dedicated detail page that includes:
- An image gallery showing the product from multiple angles.
- A title, description, and price, with any applicable discount.
- Specifications and attributes relevant to the product.
- Reviews and ratings from other shoppers (see Reviews).
- Add to cart and add to wishlist actions.
- Related products and recommendations.
Product images fall back to a built-in placeholder when an image is missing, so listings never show broken images.
Listings and presentation
Catalog listings present products as cards with image, name, price, and quick actions. From a listing you can open the full detail page, use quick view for a fast preview, or add a product to your comparison set. Listings are responsive, working from narrow phone screens up to wide desktops.
Deals and brands
Beyond standard categories, ShopNest surfaces curated deals and brand pages so shoppers can browse by promotion or by manufacturer. These complement the category structure for shoppers who think in terms of "what's on sale" or "which brand."
